Welcome to the Work Party Sign up sheet!
Work parties are for people who would like to get down and dirty getting the site ready for events. These work parties are labor intensive; you will sweat, bend, and lift a lot. These Work Parties run over the course of a weekend, you can show up for one day, or all days depending on your availability. Below, you will find the dates the work parties are taking place. Scheduled hours are from 9am -5pm. We will break for lunch for an hour (depending on weather we may break sooner or later but no later than 1pm). On hotter days we may break for the afternoon and work more into the evening.
NOTE: Clearing a space does NOT guarantee that space for your own crew. This is a Community effort to make space for everyone.
What to Expect: There will be grass cutting, blackberry trimming, fallen tree/large branch removal, digging, tree trimming, gravel disbursement, and general grounds keeping maintenance. There is poison oak onsite, there is always a chance you will come in contact with it when clearing an area. Wearing gloves and long sleeves can help minimize exposer. Bring your own tools and Safety Gear if you can.
Camping on site is permitted. Can bring 10×10 canopies. Bottled water and light snacks such as granola bars will be provided. All volunteer hours are paid in Nation Sterling.
